As if the Americana Summer Celebration wasn’t inviting enough already, the Americana Music Association has announced a songwriter session featuring Rosanne Cash, John Leventhal and Jim Lauderdale will precede the evening’s festivities.
The three highly respected writers will talk about their craft and offer a glimpse into their creative process on Saturday afternoon, July 21, during the Americana Summer Celebration at Blackberry Farm, in Walland, TN.
The intimate weekend experience, held at the breathtaking Smoky Mountain luxury property and 62-room Relais & Châteaux resort, will kick off on Friday July 20 with a performance by renowned singer/songwriter Cash, with noted guitarist and producer Leventhal. Later on Saturday evening, Lauderdale will be joined by the legendary John Oates (Hall & Oates) for very special set of music.
