Three of Nashville’s elite songwriters, Brett James, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson will be heading to Louisville to perform with Music City Hit-Makers at the Louisville Orchestra on Saturday, January 12th at 8 PM. These heavy-hitters have five Carrie Underwood #1 hits between them and countless cuts with the biggest artist in country music. This will be ‘the Bluebird Cafe meets a full scale philharmonic orchestra’ and is an event not to be missed.

With over 300 cuts, Brett James has won numerous awards. He co-wrote three Kenny Chesney #1 hits, Carrie Underwood’s ‘Cowboy Casanova,’ Martina McBride‘s ‘Blessed,’ Jason Aldean‘s ‘The Truth,’ and pretty much everything else that’s been on country radio in the last 10 years.

Hillary Lindsey co-wrote ‘Jesus, Take the Wheel,’ with Gordie Sampson, and also has her name on a whole stream of hits including Taylor Swift‘s ‘Fearless,’ Martina McBride’s ‘This One’s for the Girls,’ Rascal Flatts ‘Unstoppable,’ and Lady Antebellum‘s ‘American Honey.’  She is currently helping Gary Allan climb the charts with ‘Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)’ on which she provides vocals.

Canadian singer-songwriter Gordie Sampson has seen his songs be recorded by many major artists including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, and even Bon Jovi.

Founded by Charles Dixon in 2010, Music City Hit-Makers is known for connecting the talent of Nashville’s gifted songwriters with symphony orchestras all across America. Through merging songwriters rounds with full scale philharmonic performances, Music City Hit-Makers has performed for crowds larger than 100,000 people in Nashville, Fort Worth, Alabama and more.
