It’s a big week for Frankie Ballard. His brand new album, Sunshine & Whiskey, makes it debut in the Top 5 of the Billboard Country Albums chart, and current single, ‘Helluva Life,’ joins the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Check out the press release below for a report on his CRS activity and some well-deserved rave reviews for the album:

Frankie Ballard has been heating up the music scene – and just this week – debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart with the release of SUNSHINE & WHISKEY. The new project on Warner Bros Records also entered the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #35.

The guitarist-singer’s lead single, “Helluva Life,” has launched into the Top 5 on the Country radio charts this week and marks his fastest rising track to date. The infectious anthem has already sold more than 300,000 digital copies.

Tuesday night (2/18), Ballard performed full band for the first time at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. He treated the crowd to fan-favorites from SUNSHINE & WHISKEY including “Young & Crazy,” “It Don’t Take Much” and “Drinky Drink.” Ballard worked with producer Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard) on the 11-track album, which showcases his guitar prowess on every song. With a mix of up-tempo party songs and thought-provoking ballads, it’s no wonder that critics are flocking to the album.
