Earlier this year, Gary Allan made a triumphant return to the country music chart #1 with ‘Every Storm (Runs out of Rain).’ Last week, the team behind the song gathered at Sambuca in Nashville to celebrate the #1 success.
The party was hosted by BMI’s Clay Bradley and ASCAP’s Mike Sistad. This was Gary Allan’s first #1 as a songwriter and BMI rewarded him with a new guitar.
Allan’s co-writers Matt Warren and Hillary Lindsey were acknowledged by ASCAP. It was also Warren’s first #1.
‘Every Storm (Runs out of Rain)’ was the first single taken from Allan’s recent album, Set You Free. The new single, ‘Pieces,’ is at country radio now.
