HOTlanta part 1

Well, I don’t know where to start really. A lot of things went wrong last night, the boss was clearly not happy but we all had a fantastic time anyway. Only at a KU show…

Earlier in the day Brian came to say hello to us at the hotel, it was great catching up with him again. More details to those who know where to look for them. ;)

It was an open catwalk so we all lined up. We thought Carrie’s security would ask us to sit during her set but we were told “if you’re good you can stay”. What does he mean IF? We’re always good! :)

I wanted to like Carrie’s set but was not impressed at all. Every little detail of every single song is exactly like it is on the CD’s which is not what a live show is about. She burst into tears during “Don’t Forget To Remember Me” and had people cheering her on to finish it but she couldn’t so the band just played out the song.

Keith’s “entrance” went totally wrong so right from the start everyone was on edge. The Live DVD is being filmed here but I doubt much of last night’s footage will b used….

Never mind, I had a ball standing there with my “family” and dancing a hole in my shoes to “Better Life”.

After the show we went for drinks (of course) and I had a nice chat with some of the crew. Those boys are tired. It’s been a long tour and they need their lives back. :)

I wish more people could be here, it’s a blast!!

Love y’all.
