“It was such a thrill to be a part of this historic taping,” explained Elaine Roy. Lee Roy added, “to look around the room and see the masters of the genre and then, to see the up-and-coming artists who will carry the bluegrass torch forward in the years to come–there was an immense respect for everyone’s contribution to the bluegrass fold. It was humbling and awe-inspiring.”

The Roys will be hitting the road again for a major tour, which will lead them throughout the United States, and into parts of Canada. Their latest album has been a raging success, landing them at #1 on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction’s “Most Played Albums” in October and their debut appearance on The Grand Ole Opry in November! Last month, they were awarded Top Bluegrass Artist at the 10th Annual International Acoustic Music Awards.

The Roys’ personal mission is to make Bluegrass fans out of those who don’t yet know Bluegrass. Along with being one of the most-televised Bluegrass artists of today, you often see them performing alongside mainstream acts, such as their recent appearance on the “Country Music Cruise,” or at the upcoming Country Thunder Wisconsin:
