Now this is a ‘good news’ item! Craig Campbell headed back into the studio with producer Keith Stegall to work on the follow-up to his excellent debut album.
They are two of my favorite people in country music today. Why? Campbell writes real, honest, and often meaningful country songs and, with his stage skills honed in Nashville’s Broadway honky tonks, is one heck of an entertainer. Stegall is a first-class songwriter and my kind of producer; one who finds the uniqueness in each act he works with, gives them all the space they need to be themselves, and doesn’t stuff each cut to the brim with layers of noise, unlike some of his Music Row contemporaries.
A new single is on its way later this summer and the new album will follow early next year. Mark this record among my most anticipated releases of 2013!

Her main influences are coffee, cats, and Alexander Hamilton.
