This year’s edition of CMA Fest set a new attendance record with over 80,000 country fans enjoying the week’s festivities. The four nightly shows at LP Field were sold out six weeks in advance, and the new Music City Center hosted the Fan Fair X events with autograph signings and acoustic performances.
“This event has a global reputation as the destination for any Country Music fan,” said Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “The support we receive from our industry and the dedication of our fans is unduplicated. Each year we strive to improve and enhance the event for our attendees and the artists – and this is undeniably our best CMA Music Festival ever!”
With country artists eager to give back to their fans, many brought out special guests to help ensure the fans had the best time possible. Check out photos below of some of the surprise appearances at LP Field.
