When promoting your state as a perfect vacation destination, who better than to speak to the beauty of the state than a native Kansan? That is just what the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism was looking for when they entered into a partnership with young, up and coming Country Rocker Logan Mize who was named an official Kansas Brand Ambassador. His song ‘Sunflowers’, which is an ode to his home state, will be used as an official state tourism song to promote Kansas.
Mize, who was raised in Clearwater, Kansas, is bringing a fresh and honest voice to Nashville. The lead single, off of his debut album, due out mid-Summer 2014, has already found a home in the regular rotation on Sirius XM The Highway. Mize is currently out on his Workin’ and Drinkin’ tour, which launched April 10th and will take him throughout the Midwest region this Spring and Summer. He is also confirmed to perform at Country Stampede, one of the country’s biggest Country Music Festivals that takes place in Manhattan, Kansas every year.
