CMA Fest 2013 – LP Field – Kip Moore Rocks Day 2

The nightly shows at LP Field make sure that every day at CMA Fest ends with a big party. Friday, June 7 was no exception and for Kip Moore, it was the culmination of years of very hard work. Last year, he played a blazing set on the Riverfront Stage, but this year, for the first time, he took to the big stage at LP Field, in front of 60,000 country music fans.
He later said via a press release:
“Standing up on that stage and playing for the biggest country music fans in the world was such an amazing and humbling experience. I broke the set down a little bit and did ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ on a stool and could barely hear myself because the crowd was singing so loud. It’s hard to put into words how validating that is as a singer and songwriter. I will never forget that night.”
