Big congratulations to David Nail and co-writer Jonathan Singleton on the wonderful ‘Let It Rain’ finally reaching the top of the charts. Released to radio almost a year ago, the ballad-of-woe ascended slowly to the Mediabase Country Singles #1. I don’t have the highest opinion of corporate country radio, so it’s really great to see a wonderfully written song (and a sad song at at that!) get recognized.
Another congratulations goes out to songwriters Preston Brust, Chris Lucas (who together are LoCash Cowboys) and Jaren Johnston, for their top 10 hit now that Keith Urban has taken ‘You Gonna Fly’ to #10! You can find the single review here.
The rest of the chart looks like this
2. Keep Me In Mind – Zac Brown Band
3. Drink In My Hand – Eric Church
4. I Don’t Want this Night to End – Luke Bryan
5. You – Chris Young
6. Tattoos on this Town – Jason Aldean
7. Easy – Rascal Flatts
8. All Your Life – The Band Perry
9. Reality – Kenny Chesney
10. You Gonna Fly – Keith Urban
