Eric Church, FGL, Luke Bryan Lead SoundScan Mid-Year Country Sales Charts

It comes as a surprise to no one who has followed the country charts in 2014 so far, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, and Luke Bryan lead the sales at the midway point.
Billboard compiled the Nielsen Soundscan figures and they place Eric Church’ The Outsiders as the top-selling album, with just under 650k copies sold, and Florida Georgia Line’s ‘This Is How We Roll’ as the top-selling single, with over 1.5 million downloads.
High as those number seem, they are a significant drop from last year when six country singles cleared the one million mark. Now only three reach smash-hit status, as along with FGL, only Luke Bryan’s ‘Play It Again’ and Brantley Gilbert‘s ‘Bottoms Up’ accrued a 7-digit sales figure.
