Last week, I told you that Floriga Georgia Line marked 52 weeks, yes one whole year, on the singles chart with their debut single ‘Cruise‘. This week, the duo has made history yet again. This week marks 22 weeks spent at the Number One position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart. In breaking this record, they pass up some pretty big named stars: Eddy Arnold’s ‘I’ll Hold You in My Heart (Till I Can Hold You in My Arms)‘ spent 21 weeks at number one between 1947 and 1948, Hank Snow’s ‘I’m Moving On‘, also at 21 weeks at number one in 1950, and Webb Pierce’s ‘In the Jailhouse Now‘ which matched the total in 1955.
