Country-rock duo Florida Georgia Line are ending the year on a high note with the success of ‘Cruise.’ The song has reached #1 on the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart, which is compiled by Nielsen SoundScan from digital download sales, and so reflects country fans’ true favorites rather than radio play. Huge congratulations to Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, and to their co-writers Chase Rice, Jesse Rice, and Joey Moi. Also well done to Republic Nashville who keep up their good work when it comes to breaking in new artists.
Further down the chart, Kelly Clarkson‘s ‘Don’t Rush,’ featuring Vince Gill advances from #10 to #6, and biggest climber is Gary Allan‘s ‘Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)’ which jumps from #17 to #8.
