Country/pop/hip-hop duo Florida Georgia Line will headline the Billboard Touring Conference 10th anniversary concert in New York City on November 1, 2013. Special guests are Canadian country-rocker Dallas Smith and new country artist Chris Lane, acts which FGL will be mentoring. The evening will benefit the wonderful organization, Musicians on Call, a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities across the country.
FGL will be featured at the conference as an example of effective artist development, having been turned from virtually unknown to a headlining act in less than a year.
“For me music equals healing,” says FGL’s Brian Kelley in a press statement. “We are huge supporters of the work that Musicians On Call does to bring music to hospital patients and are honored to be a part of this event.” FGL’s Tyler Hubbard adds, “We have been given so much this year and love to give back in any way that we can. Always trying to make it bigger than the music.”
