Country music is loved around the world, and leading up to the 2012 CMA Fest week, a host of international country artists celebrated the format’s worldwide success.

Twenty-one international Country artists representing five different territories performed in downtown Nashville at the annual Global Events showcases, held June 4-5 during CMA Music Festival week.
The Chevrolet Presents: 2012 CMA Global Artist Party was held Monday, June 4, at The Stage on Broadway and featured performances from Bob Corbett (Australia), Emerson Drive (Canada), Morgan Evans (Australia), Vickie Evans (New Zealand), Adam Harvey (Australia), High Valley (Canada), Craig Morrison (Australia), Jess Moskaluke (Canada), O’Shea (Australia), Gary Quinn (UK) and Joe Robinson (Australia). Husband and wife artist duo O’Shea hosted the Monday evening event.
American Country icon and special guest Gene Watson also performed a set during the CMA Global Artist Party when his scheduled duet partner, Ireland’s Lisa McHugh, was forced to withdraw from the lineup due to emergency back surgery.
The annual CMA Presents: Aristo Global Show, hosted by Australian Adam Harvey, was held Tuesday afternoon, June 5, at The Second Fiddle. Performers included Baylou (Australia), Clayton Bellamy (Canada), Rick Caballo (Australia), Adam Gregory (Canada), Pete Kennedy (Ireland), Colm Kirwan (Ireland), Josh Macumber (Canada), Raintown (UK), Jessica Ridley (Canada) and Travellin Rose (UK).
Both Global Events performances were streamed online via Nashville-based new media and marketing company AristoWorks and carried live at CMT.ca (CMT Canda), CMAWorld.com (CMA), HighwayFM.com, Dreamwest.tv and CountryMusicChannel.com.au (CMC Australia).
“This year’s Global Events showcases were a huge success as we enjoyed some fantastic music from nearly two dozen different artists,” said AristoMedia President/CEO Jeff Walker. “The shows were extremely well-attended and, for the second year in a row, we streamed both events live around the world, which gave our performers’ fans a chance to celebrate with us.”
