Keith Urban Fans Organize 7th Annual MonkeyLove Valentines Day Plush Monkey Drive

For the 7th year, Keith Urban‘s fans are running a Valentine’s Day initiative to bring a little gift to children in the Lower Naugatuck Valley, CT. This year, they will also include the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. It is a simple way to participate in a worthwhile cause so I hope many of you will do so.

This is a combined effort of Keith Urban’s online community The ‘Ville, Discover Keith Urban: Guitar Genius Facebook Group, and Keith Urban fans all over the world to collect stuffed monkeys for abused, neglected, needy, frightened, and sick children of the Lower Naugatuck Valley in CT for Valentines Day. The monkeys are donated to a small local drive that was started 7 years ago by the former owners of Luther’s Garage and are then distributed to various children’s charities and non-profit groups who send in their requests each year. This year we would like to also send some of our monkeys to the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.
To participate please purchase one or more new plush Monkeys with tags still on if possible and mail them to Eileen H. to arrive by no later than Feb. 8th 2013. For more info and mailing address please email Eileen at Monkeylovedrive@gmail.com
