Kelsea Ballerini, already on the books of Black River Publishing, has now also joined Black River Entertainment’s artist roster. The announcement was made at the company’s Christmas party by CEO Gordon Kerr.

“One of the things about being here in Nashville is that we can invest in people’s lives,” shared Gordon. “We already knew Kelsea was an artist, she already knew that she was artist. Our job is to make sure the world knows she’s an artist.”

“She is a true writer/artist,” said Black River’s VP of A&R, Doug Johnson. “She walks into the room and you know, she was born to write music and share it with the world. She will not take no for an answer, period. I love it.”

Kelsea herself shared, “There’s nothing that I love more than music and there’s no group of people that I would rather move forward and share my dream with than Black River Entertainment. So thank you. I’m so excited, let’s do this! This is so fun!”
