Brett Eldredge added some soul to the heat at Delta Country Jam 2014 last Saturday, May 24, in Southaven, MS.
Bouncing onto the stage after an energetic instrumental intro readied the crowd, he worked his way through songs from his debut album, Bring You Back. ‘On and On,’ and ‘Tell Me Where to Park,’ were well-received, as was a great rendition of ‘One Mississippi.’ His current single, set to become his second chart-topper, ‘Beat of the Music,’ showed up early and the audience never stopped dancing.
Eldredge’s stage presence is impressive. Making use of every inch of the stage, his enthusiasm rolls into the crowd and it is impossible to not get swept up. The pace of the show never lets up as he switches effortlessly between country-rockers and piano ballads. He even threw in some of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Fly Me to the Moon.’
‘Don’t Ya,’ which became his first #1 last year, closed out the show with a big sing-along. I am sure Brett Eldredge picked up a few new fans that evening, and if you are not yet one of them, look up his upcoming tour dates on bretteldredge.com so you can join the party!
