Tim McGraw‘s collaboration with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, ‘Highway Don’t Care,’ has been announced as the winner in two CMA Awards categories, picking up Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
The announcement was made on Good Morning America this morning which was broadcasting livefrom the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
“We got a jump start on ‘Country Music’s Biggest Night™’ by announcing our winners on ‘Good Morning America’ and sharing the news with the GMA viewers and the enthusiastic fans here in Nashville,” said Ed Hardy, President of the CMA Board of Directors via a press statement.
The 47th Annual CMA Awards will be hosted for the sixth time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood tonight. The show airs live on ABC at 8 pm ET.
