Brad Paisley celebrated his 21st #1 hit this week as ‘Southern Comfort Zone,’ the anchor track of his upcoming album, Wheelhouse, topped the country singles chart. Given how much I love the song’s theme of travel opening one’s mind, I was already very much looking forward to the new record and now that Paisley revealed the track list, I am counting down the days until I get to hear it!

The influence traveling has had on Paisley is obvious just from reading some of the song titles, and it seems he is also tackling one of my main causes, the topic of (in)tolerance with a song titled ‘Accidental Racist,’ co-written with and featuring LL Cool J. Other collaborations include Dierks Bentley, Hunter Hayes, Charlie Daniels, Roger Miller, Mat Kearney, and even, and this makes me very happy, Eric Idle.

Wheelhouse was produced by Brad Paisley himself and will be released on Arista Nashville on Tuesday, April 9 and you can preorder both the standard and the deluxe version, which will contain four additional tracks, now via amazon.com.
