One of our friends went to party with Brad Paisley at the tour kick-off in MS. Here’s her great review. Thank you Rita!

Brad Paisley kicked off his Paisley Party tour Thurs., Jan. 15, to a sold-out crowd in Southhaven, MS. Country Music Legend, Gene Watson was personally invited to open the show and ended his six song set with Farewell Party, one of Paisley’s all-time favorite country songs. Darius Rucker, former frontman of Hootie and the Blowfish gave the audience a great set of songs from his new CD that was a perfect mix of country and little bit Hootie as well. Dierks Bentley was next and he was full of energy, running all over the place, taking full advantage of the W-shaped catwalk. He went through hit after hit, at times stopping at the end of the catwalk and sharing a fan’s popcorn, drinks and totally wowing the crowd, leaving us wanting more. Paisley started his set by telling the crowd he was ‘gonna play till tomorrow’. He had an impressive screen that stretched the entire length of the stage and almost to the ceiling. This formed the perfect backdrop for some of his duet videos with the most impressive being his No. 1 song with Keith Urban, Start a Band. The crowd went wild when Urban’s face appeared on the giant screen but for this fan it was a little disheartening watching Paisley’s lead guitarist playing Urban’s part. Paisley sang all of his No. 1 songs and mixed in a couple of instrumentals from his new CD that features his considerable talent on the guitar. The crowd screamed for an encore and Paisley made good on his promise, playing till after midnight, stretching the show to an impressive 4 1/2 hours.
