Since 1961, the Country Music Association’s Country Music Hall of Fame has been honoring the people who made outstanding contributions to the genre. The latest group to be bestowed the highest honor of being inducted into the Hall is Garth Brooks, Hargus “Pig” Robbins, and Connie Smith. Last night, October 21, 2012, the trio was celebrated during a ceremony and reception held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville.
