Country radio likes the sound of Flynnville Train‘s new single, ‘The One You Love.’ After its first week of release via PlayMPE, the song was the #1 most streamed and #3 most downloaded on the music distribution service.

There are more details in the press release:

“It’s a real departure for us,” says the band’s lead singer Brian Flynn. It’s an honest love song that everyone can relate to.” Written by members of The Kentucky HeadHunters (Richard & Fred Young, Doug Phelps), the single is now available on Whiskey Bent Records/Flying Island Entertainment via Play MPE. “The One You Love” is the first release from the band’s upcoming CD, due out the first quarter of 2013.

Says Richard Young: “This is one of those magical love songs that comes along just once in a while. The Kentucky HeadHunters are very pleased to write a tune that contributes to Flynnville Train’s career. We just listened to the track, and they did a marvelous job with it. I am sure it will touch a lot of people.”

“Richard pitched it to us,” recalls lead guitarist Brent Flynn.” And as soon as we heard it we knew we had to record it. We’ve performed it live everywhere and the feedback from the fans has been amazing.”

Labeled by their fans as “America’s band,” FLYNNVILLE TRAIN are as comfortable sharing the stage with Country superstars Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley as they are with rockers Iron Butterfly, Molly Hatchett and The Marshall Tucker Band.

After a two-year absence, the band also made a welcome return to the CMA Music Festival 2012, drawing huge crowds to their multi-genre, electrifying live shows throughout the busy week. FLYNNVILLE TRAIN’s music is an irresistible, powerful and hard-driving combination of Southern Rock and Country, with heart-stopping guitar riffs and vocals as gritty as a long dirt road.

“We’ve also totally re-worked our team” comments Brian. “We’ve been busy touring and obviously working in the studio as well.” Upcoming appearances stateside include shows with Tracy Lawrence, The Kentucky HeadHunters and Gretchen Wilson. Last summer the band made their international debut at the prestigious CRAPONNE FESTIVAL in France and later this month FVT heads overseas to Poland for the 31st MRAGOWO FESTIVAL.
