Texas country outfit Eli Young Band has taken over the #1 spot on the Mediabase Country Singles chart this week with ‘Crazy Girl’ after a months-long climb. This is a victory of persistence. The band, the fans, the team at Triple 8 Management, and the people at Republic Nashville all deserve congratulations!

Blake Shelton‘s ‘God Gave Me You’ still places high at #2 this week, Taylor Swift takes ‘Sparks Fly’ to #3. Miranda Lambert‘s ‘Baggage Claim’ drops one spot to #4, Brantley Gilbert remains at #5 with ‘Country Must Be Country Wide,’ and Lady Antebellum also stall at #6 with ‘We Owned the Night.’

Jason Aldean climbs to #7 with ‘Tattoos on this Town,’ Thompson Square keep gaining and reach #8 with ‘I Got You’ Zac Brown Band‘s new hit, ‘Keep Me in Mind,’ advances to #9, and Rascal Flatts return to the Top 10 with ‘Easy’ at #10.

Other noteworthy chart positions this week – Brad Paisley has reached #22 with ‘Camouflage’. Dierks Bentley climbs to #23 with the really, really (no, really, it’s awesome) excellent ‘Home’Keith Urban‘s brand new single, ‘You Gonna Fly,’ makes a big leap from #41 to #34. Eric Paslay reaches #45 with ‘Never Really Wanted.’
