A couple of surprises as I look at this week’s top country singles chart. The guys of Florida Georgia Line continue sitting pretty at number one with ‘Cruise’ for the second consecutive week. The big surprise is that Hunter Hayes, The Band Perry and Gary Allan all surpassed Taylor Swift, to put her at number five for the week. Blake Shelton’s latest single ‘Sure Be Cool If You Did’ enters the top ten at number six and Brad Paisley’s latest ‘Southern Comfort Zone’ comes in at number ten for the week.

Billboard Country Songs Chart (January 17, 2013):

1. ‘Cruise’-Florida Georgia Line
2. ‘Wanted’-Hunter Hayes
3. ‘Better Dig Two’-The Band Perry
4. ‘Every Storm(Runs Out Of Rain)’-Gary Allan
5. ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’-Taylor Swift
6. ‘Sure Be Cool If You Did’-Blake Shelton
7. ‘The Only Way I Know’-Jason Aldean with Luke Bryan and Eric Church
8. ‘How Country Feels>/em>’-Randy Houser
9. ‘Goodbye In Her Eyes’-Zac Brown Band
10. ‘Southern Comfort Zone’-Brad Paisley
