Nashville-by-way-of-Texas young singer-songwriter Hudson Moore is off to a great start. His debut single, ‘Fireworks,’ has reached the top of the Texas Music Chart this week. The up-beat tune’s success is also a further feather in the cap of Skyville Artist Development, as the press release explains:

Skyville Artist Development is in celebration mode after a month full of accomplishments. Skyville’s 22 year old Texas singer/songwriter Hudson Moore released his debut single “Fireworks” to Texas radio earlier this summer and it is #1 on this week’s Texas Music Chart. The single, produced by Skyville’s Wally Wilson, was included in iTunes “New & Noteworthy” section the day it was released. Moore has been touring Texas and Oklahoma and opening for the likes of Alan Jackson, Pat Green, ZZ Top and many others.

In addition to the exciting news for Moore, Skyville’s Jon Stone scored the Song of the Year award recently at the SESAC Awards for “A Woman Like You,” performed by Lee Brice. Stone is also nominated for “Song of the Year” on the upcoming ACAs (American Country Awards) airing on Fox Television on December 10th. Sony Music Nashville’s The Henningsens, developed by Skyville, scored two BMI awards for “You Lie” and “All Your Life,” performed by The Band Perry. Their debut album was produced by Skyville’s Paul Worley with the single due in December and the LP slated for release in 2013.

Paul Worley is also currently producing his fourth Capitol Records album for worldwide hit makers Lady Antebellum. In addition to Hudson Moore, Skyville Artist Development is working with several other young talents including Kelsey Matthews, Sara Haze, and Jacob Lyda.
