One of the new country artist who impresses me more with each release is Streamsound’s Austin Webb.
When asked for his influences he does not list the usual suspects, but rather artists like Joe Cocker, Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Guy Clark, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt. Combining country music’s storytelling with his soulful voice, Webb offers something truly new.
His new EPK, filmed by Glenn Sweitzer of Fresh Films, introduces Austin to a new audience as he discusses how he was discovered in Nashville, his Grand Ole Opry debut, his current single ‘Slip On By,’ and more.
