Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22, Carole King will be honored at the White House as the recipient of the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. During the ceremony James Taylor, Gloria Estefan, Billy Joel, Jesse McCartney, Trisha Yearwood and Carole King herself will perform.
The event will be streamed live at WhiteHouse.gov and PBS.org/WhiteHouse starting at 7:15 pm EDT. It will also broadcast on PBS television stations on Tuesday, May 28, as Carole King: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize In Performance at the White House.
