Songwriter Jaron Boyer is the newest addition to the peermusic Nashville roster. The new deal teams him up with songwriters Neil Thrasher, Vicky McGehee, and Rachel Farley, as well as with award-winning producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean).

Find out more about Jaron from the press release:

Boyer moved to Nashville, TN from Ardmore, Oklahoma nine years ago to attend college, and like many others before him, to pursue a career in the music industry. He grew up listening to a variety of music from Country to R&B and Hip Hop, although he lists his strongest influences as fellow Oklahoman Garth Brooks.

After attending a writer’s round with his good friend and fellow songwriter Ben Stennis, Boyer began performing at various writers’ nights around music city. It was one of those writers’ night that Charlie Daniels’ manager David Corlew heard Jaron sing, and helped the young writer get his start in the business. Soon Boyer was co-writing with established tunesmiths like Stennis and Thomas Rhett. He landed his first major cut, “I Ain’t Ready To Quit,” with Rhett on Jason Aldean’s “My Kind Of Party” album, and has since had songs cut by Dustin Lynch, (“Yeah,Yeah, Yeah,”) Joe Nichols (“She’s Just Like That,”) and Lauren Alaina (“Livin For The Night Kinda Town,”) among others.

“Jaron is a great asset to our roster of great writers. We are so happy to welcome him to the peer family,” says Kevin Lamb, Vice President peermusic Nashville.

“Very excited to be working with Jaron, I’m a big fan. He has his own deal and it’s awesome to watch him do his thing. With a writer like Jaron, I know I’m getting something fresh and new,” says Michael Knox, Producer/Sr. Creative Director/ peermusic Nashville.
