The Doobie Brothers‘ duets/tribute album, Southbound, is the only new release in this week’s Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, entering at #7.
Jason Aldean takes over at #1 from Sam Hunt with Old Boots, New Dirt. Following extra focus on country music during CMA week, two albums make a major advance and return to the top 10. Brantley Gilbert‘s Just As I Am jumps from #13 to #3, and Miranda Lambert‘s Platinum leaps from #21 to #6.
