Kenny Chesney does not do things the way everyone else does. The country star is breaking with convention and has announced the release of a new album, as yet untitled, less than a year after his previous release. Welcome to the Fishbowl hit stores on June 19, 2012 and the new disc will be released on April 30, 2013 on Blue Chair/Columbia.

In addition, Chesney added 28 dates to his No Shoes Nation Tour by mixing in a string of arena dates with the already announced stadium shows.

Throughout his successful career, Chesney has always given the most credit exactly where it is due, with his fans. In the press release, he said: “The fans are the foundation of ‘No Shoes Nation’. They built it from the ground up, and they built it with heart, passion and the love of life and music, and I can’t wait to feel that connection again throughout the summer of 2013.” The now 46-date No Shoes Nation Tour will kick off March 16 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL and conclude with a two-night party at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. Joining him for selsect dates will be Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves.

“The biggest ticket seller in country music and among the elite touring artists in the world” (Billboard), Chesney will have performed 101 stadium concerts after this summer’s tour. He is a CMT and AMA Artist of the Year, a four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, and a four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year.
