(C)2014 Madison Square Garden, L.P.
As if playing to a sold-out Madison Square Garden wasn’t enough of a wonderful memory, the RIAA added an extra surprise for Lee Brice.
During his set, he was presented with a special award for ‘I Don’t Dance,’ his latest smash hit and title track of his brand new album. The song was recognized as the Fastest Certified Platinum Country Single released in 2014!
Just as Brice was finishing up his new single, ‘Drinking Class,’ his friend Hoda Kotb of Today’s Kathie Lee and Hoda, and representatives of the RIAA (Cara Duckworth and Jonathan Lamy), joined Lee on stage to unveil his award. With fans still on their feet, Lee closed his set with a celebratory rendition of ‘I Don’t Dance.’
