It took many radio releases to get the #1 hit, but ‘Pontoon’ needed just 18 weeks to climb to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Congratulations to Little Big Town and songwriters Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby, and Luke Laird!
In contrast, Josh Turner‘s ‘Time Is Love’ took a more leisurely route and goes to #2 after 36 weeks on the chart, while Jason Aldean leaps to #7 with ‘Take a Little Ride’ in only its 7th week. Dustin Lynch jumps from #14 to #8 with ‘Cowboys and Angels,’ and Carrie Underwood‘s ‘Blown Away’ climbs up from #12 to enter at #10.
