It has been a long wait, but with the summer hit of 2012, Little Big Town finally grabs a country chart #1! ‘Pontoon’ was already the fan favorite with a five-week (and counting) reign on the Billboard Country Digital Chart which tracks digital sales, and now the song has reached the top of the radioplay-tracking Mediabase Country Singles Chart. Huge congratulations to the quartet and the song’s writers Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby, and Luke Laird.

Josh Turner‘s ‘Time Is Love’ climbs to #2, and Hunter Hayes takes ‘Wanted’ to #3. Blake Shelton‘s most recent #1 hit, ‘Over’ drops to #4 and Jana Kramer‘s ‘Why Ya Wanna’ enters the top 5 at #5.

Keith Urban gains a spot with ‘For You’ now at #6, Jason Aldean moves up two places with ‘Take a Little Ride’ at #7.

Three newcomers close out the top 10: Dustin Lynch advances three spots to #8 with ‘Cowboys and Angels,’ a huge jump sees Easton Corbin land at #9 with ‘Lovin’ You Is Fun,’ and Zac Brown Band‘s ‘The Wind’ is this week’s #10.
