Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Kenny Chesney Lead Billboard Country Digital Chart

This chart, as opposed to the Billboard Country Songs Chart, tracks digital download sales (monitored by Nielsen SoundScan) and gives a good idea of what music fans are really jamming to. Fans don’t always get a say in which songs make it to radio so this list, though not uninfluenced by what they hear on the radio, reflects the songs people love enough to buy. Starting today, UCN will be adding this to our list of weekly chart updates.

While he was at #1 on the airplay charts, Luke Bryan also topped the digital sales chart with ‘Drunk on You.’ But while Little Big Town‘s ‘Pontoon’ had yet to break the airplay top 20, here it occupied the #2 spot already.

Billboard Country Digital Chart (week ending July 1, 2012):
1. ‘Drunk on You’ – Luke Bryan
2. ‘Pontoon’ – Little Big Town
3. ‘Come Over’ – Kenny Chesney
4. ‘Springsteen’ – Eric Church
5. ‘Wanted’ – Hunter Hayes
6. ‘5-1-5-0’ – Dierks Bentley
7. ‘Even if it Breaks Your Heart’ – Eli Young Band
8. ‘Somethin’ ’bout a Truck’ – Kip Moore
9. ‘(Kissed You) Good Night’ – Gloriana
10. ‘Good Girl’ – Carrie Underwood
