The Marshall Tucker Band will spend its 43rd year on the road. The iconic band has announced the first set of dates for its 2014 Take the Highway Tour. The first leg kicks off in Honolulu, Hawaii in January, and more than 40 stops will follow before the summer.
“Next year’s tour schedule is shaping up to be huge with so many great shows already scheduled,” says MTB lead singer Doug Gray. “We wanted to brand next year’s tour with something that would stick and make sense. ‘Take The Highway’ is perfect not only because it is one of our big career songs but also because it’s what we do almost 200 days out of the year!”
