Teen country music artist Payton Rae, at the forefront of the “Generation YouTube” Internet stars, has announced plans for a new video, new recordings and summer tour dates. The 16-yr old’s burgeoning social media stats – more than 120,000 Twitter followers, 55,000 Facebook fans and over 5.5 million YouTube channel views in 18 months – are indicative of Payton’s growing pull with tween and teen music fans. In fact, her popularity with this age group earned her a performance slot at the YouTube-sponsored Playlist Live event in Orlando, Florida last weekend, and has kept her the #1 artist on Reverbnation’s country chart for Houston, Texas for the past three weeks.

The video for Payton Rae’s new song, “Stomp The Fire Out” is scheduled to be filmed by director Stephen Shepherd in mid-April. “This song is sassy, fun, and upbeat – I’m so glad producer Brian White brought it to me!” said Payton. “Although it is pretty different from the songs on my last project, I really think my fans will enjoy it.”

“And I’m so excited to be doing a music video to ‘Stomp The Fire Out’- we’re going to use REAL fire!” the teen star laughed. “What we have planned for the video has a very cool vibe… I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Written by Pete Sallis, Karyn Williams and Brian White, “Stomp the Fire Out” is the first song from the teen artist’s next project, which will be released on Pink Pony Records in the coming months. Payton will perform songs from the new project during her dates with the 2012 Camplified tour. Now in its 11th year, Camplified showcases emerging teen stars, performers and youth targeted brands at over 50 summer camps, giving more than 50,000 campers, ages 6-17, a unique, age appropriate concert experience integrated with on property brand activation.

“Performing live is one of the best experiences ever for me,” Payton said with a smile. “For my fans to hear my songs on the computer or on their phone is one thing, but for me to sing live – and to hear them singing the words back to me – blows my mind. It is truly amazing.”

Further information about the tour, and about her new video and music, will be posted on the artist’s website, www.paytonraemusic.com .
