peermusic songwriters Neil Thrasher and Vicky McGehee celebrated the #1 success of Randy Houser‘s ‘How Country Feels,’ with their co-writer Wendell Mobley.

The song became Thrasher’s 8th #1 and McGehee’s third. ‘How Country Feels’ is the title track and first single of Houser’s latest album, and was also Houser’s very first chart topper.

The peermusic team had nice things to say in the press release:

“Neil and Vicky are among Nashville’s finest songwriters and we are so proud to have them on our roster,” says Kevin Lamb (VP peermusic Nashville).

“I’m very proud to be working with songwriters like Vicky and Neil and also proud to have a Creative Director like Kim Wiggins. What these songwriters do for us is amazing, then combining that with a vocalist like Randy Houser just puts it over the top. Songwriters that can put words and music together and touch the souls of millions of people are far and few between, peermusic is proud to have two of them,”says Michael Knox, (Sr. Creative Director peermusic Nashville).

Founded by Ralph S. Peer in 1928, peermusic is the world’s largest global independent publishing company which operates 35 offices in 28 countries.
