Last night at his home-away-from-home, 3rd and Lindsley, Rick Huckaby celebrated the release of his new CD, Pistols and Diamonds. Huck and the band played songs which have become live favorites and introduced new songs. Pistols and Diamonds is an acoustic(ish) project with songs that, from a country-folk base, lean toward different genres. Those blues, jazz, pop, and rock flavors helped make this a pleasantly diverse live set and prove that this album was well wort waiting for. Look for the CD reviews (yes, plural) on UCN soon!
