Easton Corbin‘s new single is the title track of his most recent album, ‘All Over the Road.’ It is aiming to repeat the Top 10 success of ‘Lovin’ You Is Fun.’

‘All over the Road’ we hear an erratic driver’s apology to, presumably, a traffic cop. ‘I know I’m all over the road / I can’t help but go / Little bit of left, little bit of right / It’s hard to drive with / Her hands over here on my knee,’ he explains the source of his distraction. It is a cute little story, and what it lacks in details it makes up for in charm.

While Corbin can still be considered a neo-traditionalist, he also understands modern radio. This pleasant mid-tempo has the tone that has been doing well on the airwaves. Corbin’s bright performance creates a sympathetic character and Chamberlain’s arrangement keeps things nicely, and in contrast to the title, middle-of-the-road. It might be a little too cautious to really be memorable, but this should still enjoy a healthy chart run.
