Tim McGraw’s ‘Highway Don’t Care’ Tops Country Digital Songs Chart

Last week I said I would be shocked if this song didn’t top the Country Digital Songs Chart this week, and indeed, ‘Highway Don’t Care,’ from Tim McGraw‘s Two Lanes of Freedom album, and featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, has shot to the chart’s #1 spot. I’m one of those cynics who thinks that garnering a huge amount of download, and thereby drawing extra attention to the album, was this collaboration’s only purpose.

Two other brand new songs make an appearance as Lady Antebellum‘s ‘Downtown’ debuts at #2, and Kenny Chesney‘s ‘Pirate Flag’ comes in at #7.
