Turns Out Tim McGraw’s Saskatoon Show Was Even More Special

A few days ago, I posted about a wonderful comment left on the Ploughboy Mansion column about Tim McGraw‘s Saskatoon, SK show. The reader explained how Tim had created a really special moment for her daughter. In response to that post, one of our readers left an equally wonderful comment. It is worth highlighting to show the intense impact songs can have, and who knows, maybe someone connected with Tim’s team will read this and pass it on.

I was also at that concert in Saskatoon and I think it was a very special night and show that he put on as well. I just came through a tough year with breast cancer and this was my first outing since I finished chemo treatments and was really looking forward to the concert with my girlfriends. I too knew I had good seats but not until I got there did I know how good! They were by the runway stage as well and when Tim went down the runway the first time he stopped and took my hand and held it, and he did that a couple of times during the show, but the best was while singing “Live like you are dying” he actually cradled my face and sang part of the song to me!! It was so uplifting for me and I did not realize how much I needed it. I am not sure if these celebrities know how much they can impact a person and until this show I was someone who did not think they could. I just hope that some of these stories get back to them as I am sure it helps them in their own lives.

I am just stunned by how Tim unknowingly picked the perfect song to sing to these two people, the ones that meant the most to them at that point in their lives. Awesome!

These kinds of stories are always welcome here, so if you have one as well, you are welcome to e-mail us via uc@urbancountryblog.com and we will post it.
