Fan Stories – CMA Fest 2012: LoCash Cowboys

The Fan Fair Hall at this year’s CMA Fest was the perfect place to chat with country music fans and I had a great time doing it – especially with this bunch!
At a conference not long ago, in a discussion on artist management, the remark was made: “How do you get fans to care about you as an artist? You care about them first!” Chris and Preston of LoCash Cowboys are the personification of this philosophy. Through their music and commitment to their fans, they have built up a wonderful community of friends; people more than willing to share why they love these guys (and why you should to!). After their CMA Fest performances, they also picked up some brand new fans. The common theme: go see their live show! I wholeheartedly agree.
And in keeping with who they are, the boys had something to say in return.
Now…if you are a LoCash Cowboys fan, if you ever meet this special lady, give her a big hug. Marilyn Crawley booked their first big performance in Nashville and set them off on the path that would lead them to play for all of you on the road. And check out the story of what happened at that very first show… Right from the very first start, no one could resist a LoCash performance!
I got to listen to some really great stories from you guys this weekend, about first shows and funny stuff that happened, and I love hearing them so, if you guys have more, get in touch via facebook or e-mail anytime!
