Momentum

“With a voice as bold, expansive and deeply hued as the Alaskan sky that blanketed her childhood, Rachele Lynae is an impressive new artist whose talent, drive and creative range are quickly distinguishing her from other country newcomers.”

When I first listened to Rachele Lynae’s Party Pack Digital EP, my first thought on the first song was that she sounds a bit like Carrie Underwood, but the longer I listened, it became clear that Rachele has a sound and a style all her own. She has a lot of confidence in herself and in her voice and that confidence is contagious. She will be a great role model for young girls everywhere.

Her Party Pack Digital EP has six songs, a mixture of make you want to get up and dance songs; you better lower the bar because you don’t have a chance in hell songs, to momma won’t be cheated on anymore songs.
A personal favorite of mine, is ‘Fishin’ For Something’, I loved this song thirty seconds in. This song is where Rachele’s confidence really comes through and just makes you want to say “you tell him girl!” Not only does she have contagious confidence, but she also has a lot of attitude, mostly because she knows what she wants and tonight, she’s only out to have a good time with the girls, not to hear your cheesy, sleazy pick-up lines.

Another personal favorite is ‘Loaded Gun’ which is told from the point of view of a daughter whose father has been cheating on her mother, and the mother will take it no longer. The song opens with the line ‘momma always said she was a pistol’ and well, you can guess where the song goes from there.

Out On The Floor’ is an up-tempo make you want to get up a move kind of song. It doesn’t matter if you can dance or if you have two left feet, whatever the case maybe, find someone that you are interested in and dance with them. Life is all about having a good time, so why waste it standing against the wall, watching everyone else have a good time. Get out there and make a fool of yourself, everyone else is!
