Colt Ford helped expand the country music genre five years ago with the release of his debut album. To celebrate the anniversary, Average Joes Entertainment is issuing a new version of the collection, Ride through the Country Revisited. Produced by Shannon Houchins and Noah Gordon, the album features both new and original versions of the songs, and will be in stores on October 1. You can pre-order the album here, and receive an instant download of the new version of ‘Mr. Goodtime,’ with Ronnie Dunn.

As on the original version, Ford is joined by Brantley Gilbert, Jamey Johnson, and John Michael Montgomery. Some of country music’s most respected artists wanted to be added to the party and the album also features Ronnie Dunn, Wynonna, Joe Diffie, Charlie Daniels, and John Anderson.

‘Ride Through The Country’ changed my life forever, and here we are five years later putting a new twist on where it all began,” Colt Ford said via a press release. “I have been blessed to have so many stars that were a part of making the first record, and now I have a group of legends that are a part of this one.”

The album is just pure fun, full of southern, country rock party anthems including the Jamey Johnson co-penned, “Tailgate,” (featuring The LACS), “Waffle House,” an ode to the off-ramp staple (featuring John Anderson), the number one smash hit for Jason Aldean, “Dirt Road Anthem,” (featuring Brantley Gilbert), and the autobiographical, “Mr. Goodtime,” featuring Ronnie Dunn’s unmistakable vocals.
