Kenny Chesney has announced his 2013 summer travel plans. The No Shoes Nation Tour will kick off in Tampa, FL on March 16, and so far, 17 dates have been announced, all but one on Saturday nights. His traveling buddies will include Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves, and Zac Brown Band on select dates.
Chesney will mark 20 years on the road next year and he is quick to credit his fans, first and foremost. “I believe what we’ve created on the road is something special,” he said in the tour announcement, “the fans, myself, the band, the crew. But it’s really the fans who have given us a wonderful, unique life.”
The 2012 Brothers of the Sun Tour was the most successful country tour this year, taking around $100 million, and could pick up the Billboard Touring Award for Top Package tonight. The tour is a finalist alongside Taylor Swift‘s Speak Now Tour, and Jason Aldean‘s My Kinda Party Tour.
