Something ‘Bout A Truck‘ and ‘Beer Money‘ were the anthems of last year’s summer and fall seasons. This summer, Kip Moore‘s ‘Hey Pretty Girl‘ has been the love song of the year. ‘HPG’ takes the top spot on Mediabase Country Singles Chart, marking Moore’s third consecutive number one single off of his debut album Up All Night, which was the best-selling debut album from any country artist released last year. It was also the first country album released since 2008 to have three back-to-back number one singles, making Moore only the third artist to do so in the Mediabase chart’s history.

Since the release of Up All Night, Kip has been touring the country, opening up shows for the likes of Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, and Toby Keith, in addition to playing his own shows, which have been known to sell out in a matter of minutes.

On the success of his debut album, Kip says:

“It’s wild to me that it’s just been over a year since we put out my first album and we have three No. one songs. Writing all of these songs and seeing them come to life through the fans’ eyes is humbling to say the least. The support from them and all the great people at radio has left me speechless. I’m almost done with the next album and I can’t wait to let everyone hear some of these new tunes.”

Kip will join Lady Antebellum beginning this fall on their Take Me Downtown Tour 2013.
