For duo LoCash Cowboys, the first day of CMA Fest 2013 started by serving up breakfast for their loyal fans. It was going to be a hectic day for them, but they made sure everyone got pictures and autographs, performed an acoustic set introducing songs from the new album, and held giveaways with some special items.

Next up was a live performance right in the middle of all the action, right outside the Bridgestone Arena. The set was, well, ‘energetic’ really doesn’t quite cover it. Rambunctious… Vociferous… Indefatigable…or whatever the best word is for that blustering show, and a true demonstration of how to entertain country music fans. If you want to know how they have built up such a loyal fan base, watch their live show. No matter how small or large the stage or the audience, Chris Lucas and Preston Brust will give 100%, every single time. Watching new fans being won over is one of my favorite pastimes, and a quartet of CMA Fest goers who had staked out a spot in the front row for a show later in the day, went from polite applause at first to cheering and line-dancing by the final song. Result!
