Guitarist, vocalist, and basically all-around cool dude, Brian Nutter, invited his fans into his guitar loft again for another performance streamed live via stageit.com. He rocked the internet during a half hour set accompanied by his boys Phil Wilson (drums), Sean Harrison (bass), and Simon (cat).

Kicking off with new rocker ‘I’d Do it for You,’ the trio settled into a classic-rock-meets-southern-rock show where the main theme was just having fun. Jokes were made, great songs were played, and new beers were introduced. ‘Where My Girls At,’ ‘Dixie Girls’ and ‘Country Song’ played up the southern themes, ‘That’s Just You’ showed it’s classic rock influence. He slowed things down just once, for ‘I Can’t Outrun You,’ and based on the fan comments, had people dancing in their living rooms on both sides of the Atlantic to ‘Love & Tequila.’

I am a big fan of stageit.com. It is just enjoyable seeing accomplished musicians away from the pressure a stage can bring and just having fun. But stages also have advantages. With all sharing one microphone in this downhome setting, they had to test their vocal stamina. Having to sing louder than normal can take its toll, but not on this guy. Because after all that, by set-closer ‘Red Sundress,’ he still managed to hit that last high note!

The greatest feature on stageit.com is the chat room. You can communicate with the artist and other fans in real time. Though, if you’re going to keep up with Brian’s fans, you better be able to type fast. It was great seeing conversations flying back and forth between North America and Europe, where some wonderful fans got up at 2 am to watch the show. There were song requests, jokes, praise, and comments about Phil’s snazzy red drum sticks!

Keep an eye on Brian’s stageit.com page to make sure you don’t miss the next one, and follow Brian on Twitter to get up-to-the-minute updates.
